*Wish I could tease out some grand theory of what happened in this game. No dice.
The reality looks as simple as it being an evenly matched game in which one side probably had one more big play or so go in its favor. That would be TCU's pick-six in the second half.
*OU's passing numbers do stick out to me. No one can complain about generating an average of 21 yards per completion. On the other hand, when you factor in the poor completion percentage, it demonstrates how boom-or-bust the Sooners' passing game really was.
The Horned Frogs stopped giving up big plays in the second half; OU couldn't string together drives. All she wrote.
